My yamaha XS650 race bike (Unlimited forgotten Era).
What's been done to the engine ?
Cylinder head is ported flowed,oversize valves with 7mm stems.R & D
valve springs with titanium retainers,
Trost cam, 270' degree crank,140mm carrillo conrods, 85mm bore x 74mm
stroke.20mm extended sump.
10.5 >1comp. Ross pistons. 38mm Mikuni round slide carby's. Probe
electronic ignition.Dyna coils
High Ratio primary gears. 520 pitch chain & 17front sprocket 34,36.38
rear sprockets
Frame is made from light weight reynolds tube and is brazed.
swing arm is alloy.koni shocks
forks have 38mm tubes,front wheel 3''x17 rear 4.25 x 17.Fuel tank is
alloy, seat & fairing is fibre glass.
Top speed 151mph (5th gear 8,000rpm 17>34 gearing)
With fuel , oil & ready to race this bike weighs 148kg.
