A lot of our club members already know Geoff Bamford, for those
who don't, he is "the man" when it comes to XS650
Yamahas.
Geoff has a collection of the finest XS's you are ever likely to see and is
passionate about his collection. Geoff is also the bloke who provides the venue
for the AGM's held in Sydney and I can personally vouch for his reputation as a
host.
He recently sent me some pictures of his infamous shed (it's bigger than my house) so take a look at the yardstick for a man's hobby.
Just a few of the bikes in Geoff's collection awaiting restoration.
A few more restored bikes just spread out in the yard for a picture.
As you can see, the level of workmanship in Geoff's restorations is the highest.
This is upstairs in Geoff's shed.
Some of the gang.
That XS1 is brand new, Geoff put it together straight from the crate! (It's not for sale at any price)
plenty of room for parking
Geoff also carries a few spares.
The workshop
In case you didn't get the message, Geoff's shed is HUGE and full of XS650's and parts. Some of the bikes and spares are for sale so if you give him a call he might be able to help with that elusive part or that dream bike you've always wanted.
Parts are always first class and the prices fair when you consider the effort that has gone into collecting and/or restoring them.
Geoff Bamford's email address is bosshog_52@hotmail.com if you type in the address instead of using the link it's bosshog_52 etc.
Geoff has had complaints his email doesn't work, it does!
